The International Mystery Writers Festival occupies a variety of outstanding venues for the numerous premiere performances during Discovering New Mysteries. Mystery headquarters are housed in the beautiful RiverPark Center located along the banks of the Ohio River, but the entertainment continues throughout downtown Owensboro.

RiverPark Center

The state-of-the-art RiverPark Center is a non-profit regional performing arts and civic center that entertains and educates nearly 200,000 people – including 50,000 children - annually through more than 750 events.

RiverPark’s main auditorium is a state-of-the-art 1,500-seat Broadway-style theater (Cannon Hall). RiverPark also boasts a 300-seat multi-purpose staging area in the Jody Berry Cabaret Theatre, the Holbrook Gallery stage, and the Woodward’s theatre that adjoins the International Bluegrass Music Museum. RiverPark Center also has an extraordinary outdoor entertainment patio on the banks of the Ohio River.

Trinity Centre at TWO

The International Mystery Festival will also utilize the beautiful Trinity Centre at Theatre Workshop of Owensboro, located less than a ½ mile from RiverPark Center. The ambiance of the Trinity Centre provides an intimate atmosphere for engaging in a great mystery play.

Wendell Ford Senate Gallery at the Museum

Located directly across the corner from the RiverPark complex is Owensboro’s exquisite Museum of Science and History. Housed within an historic 19th and early 20th century building, the museum is a gathering spot, a learning center and a family-friendly entertainment experience.
