Dear Friends of the International Mystery Writers' Festival,
As most of you know, our third festival will open in August.
At RiverPark Center our mission and our mandate has been to bring worthwhile theatrical experiences to the greater community. To help sustain that effort, we created an event of extraordinary reach and potential, the festival which you attended, were part of, and shared with us— Discovering New Mysteries. Along with you, came talent from across the country and a new devoted audience for our theatres. This is what propels us and allows us to be a hot house for local, state, national, and international writers.
We want to keep this effort going and growing. It is our way of bringing something vital to the community and building a legacy for the future of our festivals and theatres.
Towards this goal, we are offering a fund-raising premium to you—our friends and past supporters. For a limited time, we are offering a CD recording from the 2008 Live Radio Theatre: the double-bill, special event performances of Ray Bradbury's "It Burns Me Up" and Mary Higgins Clark's "My Gal Sunday."
This hour-long program features fine performances by our Live Radio Players—including Gary Sandy, Phil Proctor, David Ossman, Melinda Peterson, Amy Walker, and many talented others with remarks by Mary Higgins Clark. Fully dramatized with sound effects and music, the recorded live performance brings you into our theatre through the magic of "radio", which you can enjoy at home, on the road, or as a special experience with family and friends.
